Greater Waco Legal Services (GWLS) was founded in 2017 to provide access to legal services for individuals who are unable to afford the services of a private attorney.
GWLS serves individuals and families through affordable legal services, free monthly legal advice clinics, and legal empowerment workshops. GWLS also works to prevent legal issues through a variety of holistic advocacy, proactive education, and community-driven problem solving.
Our clinics module was especially useful in working through the unique needs of GWLS, with the ability to easily create and schedule clinic slots matching attorneys and clients.
Thanks to everyone on all their hard work, and congratulations!
We are proud to welcome Highland Park - Highwood Legal Aid Clinic to the LegalServer community.
Highland Park - Highwood Legal Aid Clinic (HPH) provides pro bono legal services to low-income individuals who live or work in Highland Park and Highwood in the areas of immigration, housing, and domestic violence.
LegalServer is proud to support the work of their busy immigration attorneys through the LegalServer Immigration Forms and other immigration specific tools on the platform.
Congratulations to HPH for all their hard work during the onboarding process, and we look forward to working with you in the future!
We would like to welcome the National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) to the LegalServer Platform.
NCRC is a national support organization, providing resources and training to various community reinvestment programs who, in turn, provide assistance to underserved communities throughout the country. They also counsel consumers directly through comprehensive housing and mortgage counseling to consumers directly and through a network of HCN partner member organizations located throughout the nation.
The LegalServer onboarding team successfully helped San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program (SDVLP) migrate to LegalServer. Now live on LegalServer, SDVLP has a case management system that is much more configurable with many more case handling features.
We are privileged to continually help non-profit legal aid agencies and universities improve process and assist more people, leveraging a powerful legal aid case management system that is easily customized to the way they operate. With a proven methodology to migrate, our hands on approach results in a smooth transition to a more robust legal aid case management environment.
In February, Friends of Farmworkers and the Pennsylvania Institutional Law Project went live with LegalServer. Both are based in Pennsylvania and are part of the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network. Congratulations on all your hard work!
This month, we look forward to launching the Pennsylvania Community Justice Project, Center for NonProfit Legal Services, and Brooklyn Defender Services.
We hit the ground running in January as we welcomed three new groups to the LegalServer onboarding process.
The Pennsylvania Health Law Project is an agency dedicated to both direct advocacy and policy change to impact health care for low-income Pennsylvania consumers and MidPenn LegalServices provides civil legal services to low income residents and survivors of domestic violence in 18 counties in Central Pennsylvania. Both PHLP and MPLS are part of the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network.
Community Legal Services and Counseling Center provides both free civil legal assistance and affordable psychological counseling to people with low incomes located in Cambridge Massachusetts.
In December, we welcomed the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program to the LegalServer onboarding process. SDVLP works to meet the needs of vulnerable San Diego residents through the hard work volunteer attorneys.
In December we saw Human Rights Initiative and LenoxHill go live on LegalServer. Human Rights Initiative of North Texas provides legal and support services to human rights abuse survivors, as well as advocating for justice and human rights. LenoxHill Neighborhood House employs a multi-disciplinary and holistic approach to legal services for low income residents of New York City.
Since 2001, LegalServer has been helping the legal aid community do more with less by leveraging the most comprehensive web-based case management system for non-profit civil legal aid.
LegalServer case management software enhances performance for non-profit legal aid agencies, university law schools and public defenders. Through a cloud-based hosted platform we are improving legal case handling and providing insights to legal staff and management for making more informed decisions faster.
Designed to improve the effectiveness of data collection and action by enhancing the process by which data is collected, stored, and used, LegalServer will facilitate better communication, collaboration and reporting.
Many in the LegalServer team are attorneys who have hands on experience taking a powerful case management system and optimally configuring it to you.
